Body Readings at Aloha w/end 5-7 Dec.'08

Every December for some years now, Nemara and Andrea (from www.heartworkslomilomi) have been organizing Aloha w/end for practitioners of Hawaiian KaHuna and Heartworks LomiLomi massage. It is a w/end for practitioners to pamper themselves, relax, enjoy the nature, try new things, also learn something new, exchange a few treatments while surrounded by live drumming, have a swim in a dam, indulge in delicious vegetarian food and similar...
The Aloha w/end is run at Rainbow Retreat - Wyee, owned by a lovely couple Barry and Gillian. If you ever happen to be there have a close look at Barry’s eyes. It is a Treat ! So much sweetness you will find in them.
In December '07 I was invited to do Face Readings for participants of Aloha w/end and this December they asked me to do Body Readings.
My session was allocated for Sunday morning, after which we all had body scrubs, full body clay that was dried up next to the fire then jump into dam for wash of. And that wasn't the end..... back on massage table for some warm coconut oil massaged into your skin which is by then as soft as velvet. Ahhh... I loved it! And I have a few photos to remind me of those heavenly moments. (that's private collection ;)
The Body Reading session confirmed it once again that the truth is to be found in the body. The Issues are in the Tissues. Whatever goes inside the mind is reflected in your face and body. Our body carries and houses our attitudes, thoughts and feelings. We are constantly creating our bodies. Body speak the language one can trust. When there is disharmony in our life, body let us know. That could be with pain... with dis-comfort... with dis-ease...
The question is: do we listen? Do we take care of the only true home we have in this life time?
My suggestion is: Love Your Body, Love Your Face, Love Your Life.
And that is a subject I will be talking about next month on Launceston's BodynSoul festival from 6-9 March'09. (www.bodynsoulfestival.com)
See you there... I'm looking forward to it.
